水性脱色剤はジシアンジアミド・ホルムアルデヒド樹脂であり、染料廃水の脱色性が高く、大量のカチオンを付与することにより染料分子にマイナス電荷をもたらし不安定な中和を行うと同時に、大量のフロックの加水分解により染料分子を中和します。染料が吸着され、スネアが不安定になり、水が分離され、漂白の目的を達成することができます。
