油圧式往復センタースラッジスクレーパーは、ロータリーの動きを、中央の油圧パワーユニットによって駆動される滑らかで線形の後ろ向きのレーキに置き換えます。ダブル作動するシリンダーは、タンクの幅（または半径）に及ぶ剛性トラスを押して引っ張ります。トラススクレイプに取り付けられたHDPEブレードは、スラッジを沈殿させ、各前方ストローク中に中央（または縦方向の）ホッパーに向かってスラッジを沈殿させ、リターンストロークで床の100 mm上に引き寄せ、逆シアーを排除しました。 0.3〜0.6 m分で動作すると、システムは<0.75 kWを消費し、20〜30 dBのノイズしか生成しません。

PLCは、ストロークの長さと滞留時間を制御し、スラッジ負荷への自動適応を可能にします。制限スイッチと圧力トランスデューサーは、閉塞が満たされた場合、過負荷保護と即時反転を提供します。水没したドライブモーター、チェーン、またはスプロケットがないため、メンテナンスは年間の油圧オイルとシールの交換に限定されます。
